Founding member of the Lloydminster Big Sisters Association and the first Executive Director, a position held for 12 years. Also one of the board members who worked on the amalgamation of the Big Brothers Association and the Big Sisters Association. Founding member of both the Saskatchewan provincial Big Sisters Association as well as the National Big Sisters of Canada Association.
Pat and her mother, Rene Foster, were instrumental in the formation of the Lloydminster and Area Brain Injury Society, an organization that offered recreational, social and rehabilitative programming to her father, Alex Foster, and continues to offer these programs to dozens of individuals in the Lloydminster area who have survived a brain injury due to accident or illness. Pat is presently the vice-president of the Saskatchewan Brain Injury Association, an organization offering support to local organizations and an advocate group for ABI survivors.
