Notes on the Rendell Letters

1. The Rendell's were  not on the main colonist ship, the SS Lake Manitoba, which carried Reverends Barr and Lloyd. This reminds us that there were at least 5 ships which brought "Barr Colonists" across the ocean.

2. Some of these trees, firs, survived until June 2000 when they were cleared away to make room for an expanding strip mall.

3. Easy to miss this reference to Miriam Rendell, the first baby born in Lloydminster.
