Corrections and UpdatesPage 6 (bottom left) - the individual dressed as Father Christmas was Nathaniel Jones, J.P. who after presenting gifts to the children, presented a purse to Rev. Lloyd containing $135.00 (equivalent to about $15,000.00 in 2003) to honour his leadership and to help defray some of his personal expenses on behalf of the Colony such as trips to register lands and meet with government officials, etc. It is Rev. Lloyd's home, the Rectory, in the background. Pages 9 (top right) and 74 - the occasion was Victoria Day (May 24th), 1904 and the exciting visitor to Lloydminster was Alf Causely, trick cyclist. as a Lieutenant but his distinguished overseas service was at the rank of
Captain. We deeply regret this error.
