On this, and following pages, is illustrated a booklet which was published by
the Lloydminster Board of Trade in early 1928 extolling the virtues of the
Lloydminster District for farming. It seems to be aimed especially at
American farmers with its continual explanation that provinces are the same as
"states". It is a great example of the "boosterism" indulged in by all
communities in the early settlement period.
