ROSE A. KOEP

Rose became interested in art during high school and studied under Sr. Rita Berthold.  During training at TeachersCollege in Saskatoon, Wynona Mulcaster was a great influence.

A summer spent at the Kenderdine Art School at Emma Lake, Saskatchewan, under Professor Ken C. Lochhead furthered both interest in art and a growing facility. The Kenderdine Art School is associated with the University of Saskatchewan.

University of Saskatchewan extension classes at Lakeland College, Lloydminster, over a period of three years furthered growth in pottery and drawing.  Instructors were Marlene Zora and Rick Bates.

Rose has been a member of several local art groups for many years and is currently associated with a recreational art group at the Lloydminster Legacy Centre.  Among others, Lindsay Evans and Harry Wohlfarth were instructors for local groups.
